Lake Rosseau Cottage Wedding Flowers |  Muskoka Wedding Florist

Venue: Private Cottage | Port Carling, ON
Photographer: Allie Jennings Photo

This Lake Rosseau wedding featured wildflower-inspired, garden-style florals designed by Three Birds Flower Farm, a Muskoka wedding florist known for working with locally grown, seasonal flowers.

Set on a historic private island cottage on Lake Rosseau, this wedding embraced a relaxed, intimate atmosphere surrounded by water, trees, and the natural beauty of Muskoka. The floral design reflected the landscape, with airy, textural arrangements and a palette inspired by wildflowers in full summer bloom.

Featuring an abundance of cosmos and other locally grown blooms from our farm, the flowers brought a soft, natural movement to the day. From the bridal bouquet to ceremony arrangements and reception florals, each design was thoughtfully designed using farm-grown blooms, complemented by select stems sourced from trusted growers to achieve a refined, layered look.

Guests arrived by boat, and our team used our own boat to transport flowers and materials to the island, allowing for a seamless and carefully planned setup. This added to the uniquely Muskoka experience and ensured every floral element arrived fresh and in perfect condition. The celebration continued under a tented reception overlooking the lake, enhancing the natural, immersive feel of the day.

For couples planning a Lake Rosseau wedding or a Muskoka cottage or island celebration, locally grown wedding flowers offer a meaningful way to reflect the surrounding landscape while creating a cohesive and elevated design. As a Muskoka wedding florist, we love designing for Lake Rosseau weddings and lakefront celebrations, where the setting allows for a natural, immersive floral experience.
